What is FREE Weekend Internet?
Every weekend (Saturday 12:00am to Sunday 11:59pm), you will enjoy complimentary 2.5GB Internet (a total of 10GB a month) that will be refreshed every weekend.

What happens if I do not fully utilise the FREE Weekend Internet?
Any unused Weekend Internet quotas will be forfeited at the end of the weekend period.

What happens if I fully utilise the FREE Weekend Internet?
Once you have fully utilised FREE Weekend Internet, further Internet usage will be deducted from your Weekday Internet quota.

In order of priority, your Internet usage will be deducted as below on weekends

How long is this FREE Unlimited Social Apps?
You will continue to enjoy the benefit for as long as your line is active.
 

Roaming

Can I use my plan’s Internet quota while roaming?
No. Your plan’s Internet quota is applicable for domestic use only (within Malaysia). Internet usage while roaming will be chargeable on top of your monthly commitment at roaming charges.

Am I required to pay the roaming deposit when I request for roaming activation during registration?

  • No. You no longer need to pay deposit for roaming activation.
  • International Roaming (IR) for Calls and SMS will be automatically activated upon plan registration. However, if you wish to enjoy Internet service while abroad, please active IR for Internet by sending IR ON to 28882.

What is AnydayGB™?
AnydayGB™ is a feature that allows you to combine your Weekday and Weekend Internet together.

How can I subscribe to AnydayGB™?
You can subscribe to the feature by following the steps below:

Is it a one-time subscription or a recurring service?
The AnydayGB™ subscription is an auto-recurring service. If you want to unsubscribe, please send “ANYDAYGB STOP” to 28882.

Is there a fee for AnydayGB™?     
You will be charged RM10 monthly on your bill when you subscribe to AnydayGB™.

How many times can I subscribe in one billing cycle?
It’s a one-time only and will take effect in the next billing cycle. A fee of RM10 will also be charged in the next billing cycle.

Is it possible to start and stop subscription within the same billing cycle?
No. You can only unsubscribe from AnydayGB™  in your next billing cycle once your AnydayGB™  has been activated.

Can I stop the subscription?
Yes. If you decide to unsubscribe, kindly send “ANYDAYGB STOP” to 28882.

How do I know when the AnydayGB™ service has merged both Weekday and Weekend internet in the next billing cycle?
You can check your Internet balance by sending BAL STATUS to 28882. The combined Internet quota will be reflected under Weekday Internet.

 

Carry Forward Internet

Is this plan eligible for the Carry Forward Internet feature?
No. This plan is not eligible for Carry Forward Internet.

What happens if I have balance on my Internet quota?
Any unused quota will be forfeited.

 

FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan

What is FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan?
FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan is a supplementary plan where you may enjoy complimentary Calls, SMS and MMS between principal and the supplementary lines.

Can I register for supplementary line(s)?
Yes. You can register supplementary line(s) under the FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan.

How many supplementary lines can be registered under one principal line?
You may register up to 5 numbers as supplementary lines under the FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan.

Can I register as a supplementary line under FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan?
Registration of a supplementary line under the FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan is open to all individuals who are:

  • FIRST™ Gold Plus principal line holders
  • Mobile Number Portability (MNP) customers

Where can I register for FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan?
You can register FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan at:

Your Internet allocation will be carried forward to next billing cycle, up to 500MB Internet (provided you stay on the same plan).

What will happen if I exceed my FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan allocation?
You will be charged our Pay Per Use (PPU) rate of 20sen/mins/SMS for any additional usage. Internet will be throttled; however you may purchase an Add On for additional Internet allocation.

What happens if I terminate my FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan?  
You will be charged 1 full month of your package value on top of your outstanding bill amount (if any).

You will be charged a prorated amount of your monthly commitment fee.

Can I change my FIRST™ Gold Plus plan to a Celcom prepaid plan?     
No.

Can I, as an existing prepaid customer switch to FIRST™ Gold Plus and will my credit be carried forward?
Yes, you can and any remaining credit balance will be transferred to your new postpaid plan as a credit amount.

Can I use my credit balance to cover my advance payment for FIRST™ Gold Plus?     
No, you can’t. Full advance payment is needed during registration.

Can I, as a customer of any existing postpaid plan, change rate plan to FIRST™ Gold Plus?     
Yes, you can.

If I am a principal line holder with existing supplementary line(s) that wants to change to FIRST™ Gold Plus, what will happen to my supplementary line(s)?     
Your supplementary lines will be auto-migrated to FIRST™ 1+5 Family Plan.

If the Principal of master billable account with existing unbillable child with legacy plan want to CORP to FIRST™ Gold Plus, what happens to the supplementary line(s)?     
Supplementary MUST change their plan to FIRST™ plan.

If I am a principal line holder with supplementary lines and an existing Internet plan who wants to change my plan to FIRST™ Gold Plus, what happens to my supplementary (Internet Plan) lines?

How do I choose the privileges?

If you are a Postpaid customer, your Music Walla™ subscription will automatically be renewed until you choose to unsubscribe.

Can I unsubscribe from Celcom Music Walla™?
Yes. If you are a Prepaid customer, you can just stop renewing the subscription while Postpaid customers can unsubscribe by dialing *118#, entering the “Other add-ons” menu and selecting “Unsubscribe”. To unsubscribe via the Celcom Life app, tap the “Usage” tab and select “Unsubscribe”. You will be brought to a confirmation screen. Tap “Proceed” to confirm that you will be terminating your subscription.

Does Celcom Music Walla™ cover premium subscription fees?
No. Music Walla™ does not cover premium subscription fees.

Will I be charged Tax when I subscribe to Celcom Music Walla™?
For prepaid customers, you will not be charged Tax for the VAS or content when you subcribe as Tax has been paid upon reload. For postpaid users, Tax will apply on the price of VAS or content purchased and you will be able to see the total Tax for the month in your monthly statement. For direct payment (EG: Via Credit card), Tax will be applied upon payment..

Do I need to pay more for additional services following the SST implementation?
Generally, prices of our existing products and services remain unchanged and applicable Tax will be charged on the total amount if applicable. Yes, there will be messages sent to the account administrator and members’ lines. The account administrator will receive messages either via email or SMS on the group’s quota status and usages. Can I change the fixed line number that is provided to me?

You can request to change the last 3 digits (subject to availability) of your fixed line number when you sign up. We will send the fixed line number assigned to you via the welcome email upon service activation. A change of a fixed line number is not allowed after the service has been installed at your business premise.

What do I get once I subscribe to the service?
You will get high speed Internet access and fixed voice service for your business. You may connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi or LAN. For voice service, you may use the DECT phone provided to make calls.

What is the minimum subscription period?
Minimum subscription period is 24 months from the activation date.

Can I convert my account from Postpaid to Prepaid?
Celcom Business Fibre account is on a postpaid basis and cannot be converted into prepaid basis.

Who do I contact for after sales support and enquiry?
You may call our Customer Service Consultant at 1-300-11-3282 in which you will be entertained on end-to-end service enquiry on Celcom Business Fibre. For support and enquiry on FIRST™ plans, you may call 1881 from Celcom mobile or 019 601 1881 from non-Celcom mobile, fixed lines and other operators.

 

Part 2: Installation

When can I schedule my installation?
You may choose your preferred Installation time slot by filling up the service registration form. Installation date may be varied depending on the TechXpert’s availability and you may be required to provide an alternative date for the installation if the Installation date is not available. You will receive a welcome email and SMS to inform you on the actual installation slot.

What I have to do to reschedule my installation slot?
Upon receiving the welcome email or SMS, you may call 1-300-11-3282 to reschedule the installation time slot.

What if I would like to cancel my subscription before the installation takes place?
You may call our Contact Centre at 1-300-11-3282 for cancellation. You will not be charged any fee if you request to cancel within a minimum of four (4) days prior to the installation date. A cancellation fee of RM200.00 will be imposed if you cancel your appointment within four (4) days from your installation day.

Is there an imposed fee if I were to reschedule my installation appointment?
You will not be charged any fee if you request to reschedule within a minimum of four (4) days prior to the installation date. A rescheduling fee of RM200.00 will be imposed if you reschedule your appointment within four (4) days of your previously set appointment.

How long is the installation process?
The installation process will take approximately four (4) to six (6) hours depending on the premises. You will receive a call from Celcom four (4) days from the appointment date to confirm the installation date and time. In the event that you are not reachable, we will deem the appointment is confirmed and proceed to inform our TechXperts. Our TechXpert will contact you directly on the day of the installation to arrange for the installation to take place.

Will there be any drilling involved and approval to enter the building?
There will be potential drilling to connect the service to your office. You will need to approve the drilling and the design of the connection prior to installation in service installation form. Any building space requiring management approval shall be taken up by customer.

What if I request for a non-standard installation?
You may request for a non-standard installation and the cost shall be borne by you. The request shall be made directly to the TechXpert and cost (refer below) thereof shall be paid directly to the TechXpert;

How do I use my Celcom Business Fibre?
Step 1: Search for your Celcom Business SSID displayed on the Router using a computer or a smart device.
Step 2: Select the Celcom Business SSID and key in the Security Key displayed on the Router.
Step 3: You are connected to the network. Enjoy your Celcom Business Fibre anywhere within your home.

Can I have my CCTV connected to the service?
The service is compatible with selected brands and models of CCTV only. Kindly ensure that your CCTV is compatible with a private dynamic IP and you may need to contact your CCTV supplier for the configuration.

 

Part 3: Billing

What will I see in my first bill?
Your bill statement will reflect your monthly access fee plus a pro-rated access fee from the date of your activation to the date that you are billed and a stamp fee of RM10. Additional charges and rebates will be reflected based on the offerings that are part of your package.

What are the charges that are applicable to the SST?
In principle, all products and services for consumption in Malaysia are subjected to SST at 6%

What type of bill will I receive for my subscription?
You can request for printed bill or e-billing. E-Billing is a service where you will receive your bill online instead of a physical bill. To ensure that you receive your e-bill, you need to have a valid Celcom Online Customer Service (OCS) ID and password which can be retrieved from the Celcom OCS website at https://www.celcom.com.my/onlinecustomerservice/account

How much is the e-billing service?
E-billing is free of charge.

What if I want to subscribe to the printed bill?
You can subscribe to the printed bill through the Online Customer Service (OCS).
Printed summary bill Corporate Official is charged at RM2.00.
For printed itemized bill Corporate Official is charged at RM5.00.

How do I pay for my service?
Payments can be made at any Blue Cube, our kiosk services or online banking such as Maybank2u or CIMBClicks. Should you have any questions regarding billing payment, you may call our contact centre at 1-300-11-3282.

 

Part 4: Device

What are the devices that will be installed on my premises?
We will install a Router (RGW) and a Modem (ONT) on your premises.

What is the warranty period for the devices?
The Router and Modem have a warranty period of twelve (12) months.

What if my devices are faulty and need replacement?
You will not be charged for the replacement of the devices during the warranty period due to damages caused by a manufacturing defect. In the event that the device is damaged due to your negligence you will be charged with RM300 for the replacement of the router and RM500 for the replacement of the modem.

Part 5: Cancellation, Upgrade/Downgrade and Termination

What if I would like to cancel my subscription before the installation takes place?
You will not be charged any fee if you request to cancel a minimum of four (4) days prior to the installation date. A cancellation fee of RM200.00 will be imposed if you cancel your subscription within four (4) days of your installation date.

Can I upgrade my speed?
You may request for a speed upgrade at no charge, at any time with no renewal on the minimum subscription period.

Can I downgrade my speed?
You may request for a speed downgrade at any time subject to a downgrading fee of RM50.00 with no renewal on the minimum subscription period.

Can I relocate my service at any other location?
You may request for service relocation subject to the availability of the service at the new location at the rate of RM200.00 per request.

What if my new location does not have the infrastructure for this service yet?
You may request for termination of your account, and if you are still within the contract period, your termination fee will be waived provided you produce an original utility bill with your new location address.

What if I terminate the service within the contract period?
You will be charged a termination fee of RM500.00 which shall be reflected in your final bill.

If I terminate the service before the contract ends, do I need to return the device(s)?
We only require for you to return the modem. All other devices belong to you. Our TechXpert will arrange to collect the modem from your home.

Where can I terminate the service?
Termination of service is only available at Blue Cube or via our Account Managers.

Where do I change my password?
In Web UI interface, under “Profile” tabs press “Edit” button to change your password.

As a VirtuExt™ End User, do I need special device to use it?
No, as an End User you may use your existing mobile phone to enjoy the service since this application does not require any additional investment on hardware or software.

How to display Main Number when I dial out to hide m personal mobile number?
There are two ways to display your company Main Number;

  1. In Web UI, select the “Display Main Number” box.
  2. Add 7 at the front mobile number you wish to dial. E.g. 019-1234567.

How many user categories in VirtuExt™?
There are 3 users category:

  1. Attendant - As a company operator / receptionist or department selected personnel to manage and control over some important virtual-service. In the other words, an Attendant is someone who helps caller to gets the person they are calling. This person will have to work closely with VirtuExt™ SwitchBoard interface to perform call transfer, call holding, manage incoming call queue, call conference administrator and lot more functions which will be describe further in this document.
  2. End User - Normal VirtuExt™ users. Simply notify your designated Celcom Enterprise Business Manager to enable your employee mobile phone into this system. All your employees need is a valid voice plan from Celcom Enterprise and this system can work with any GSM or 3G mobile phone. They will be assigned with Mobile Extension Number and password to access the VirtuExt™ interface to configure their daily use of virtual profile.
  3. Enterprise Admin - Responsible for managing the company VirtuExt™ service strategies. No specific IT specialist knowledge are require to operate this system as this WEB interface is easy-to-use and user-friendly experience allowing the user to interact in natural and intuitive way.

How do I login to my Web User Interface?
This Interface is accessible by Enterprise Admin, Attendant and End User via www.virtuext.celcom.com.my

How do I change my Virtual Profile?
It’s important to preset the profile over the Web UI (User Interface) before you use the other option.

There are 3 types of UI for VirtuExt™ users.

  1. SMS - ‹type desire profile number› ‹send to 21112
    E.g. User wishes to change to Personal Hunt Group profile.
    In your mobile, go to send new SMS, type ‹10› send to ‹21112›.
  2. IVR - 019-3000922
  3. Web UI (User Interface) - Go to “Profile” tabs, select the desire profile from the drop down list.

How do I update my login status?
This step is for the following users;

  • Attendant - To logout or login from the Web SwitchBoard.
  • End User - For user that select “Show Main Number as caller” and “Follow login/logout” option only.

Dial 019-3000933 to login and dial again to logout.

How many participants can join the conference at one time?
Minimum 3 and maximum 20 participants at one time are allowable during the conference call with VirtuExt™ platform.

How long I can record my conference?
The conference recording is unlimited.

Where do I download my recorded Conference?
The conference originator can download the recorded file at Web UI under “Conference” tabs.

How long I can keep the audio conference file?
User has 24 hours to download the recorded file. SMS notification will be sent 1 hour before VirtuExt™ platform purge the file.
Important:

  1. The file cannot be retrieved after platform purged the audio file.
  2. Audio file is in “.wav” format.

How do I setup Conference Call?
You can setup Conference in two ways;

Inbound Conference

  • Under “Conference” tabs, select the date, time and duration.
  • Press “Reserve” to retrieve your conference PIN.
  • Copy the conference PIN and distribute it together with Conference Bridge number (0193000988) to the participants via SMS or Email.

Outbound Conference

  • Under “Conference” tabs, select your desire conference participant as follows;
  • Web UI - drop down list for employees or select”External” if you wish to invite non VirtuExt™ users.
  • Java Client UI - Select the employee name from the “Contact” list and press “Add” or simply enter mobile number at “Add Number” column.

Why I cannot view “Conference” tabs in my UI?
Access to Conference Call is define by your Enterprise Admin or based on service subscription by your company.

The Enterprise Admin can access the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly statistic while the Attendant can view the daily call and SMS log only.

Celcom Business Wireless is an Internet connection provided by connecting to the 4G mobile network, which can be good for Cafe, Homestay, SOHO, budget Hotel who can't access Fibre or ADSL, yet need a reliable connection with lots of data. It allows you to enjoy a 4G/LTE connection directly to your computer, Television, Smartphones and other smart devices via seamless WiFi access anywhere within your area.

What are the conditions for subscription?

No, Celcom Business Wireless comes with a router and sim.

How can I check my quota usage?

If my base quota is depleted, can I continue to browse? 
Yes, once your monthly allocated Internet quota finishes, the speed will be throttled to 64kbps until your next billing cycle. To continue the service at regular speeds, you may purchase non-recurring time-based passes. 

Can I use this service whilst roaming overseas? 
No, you can’t use this service outside of the country. 

My Celcom Business Wireless router is not working. How do I get it fixed? 
If your Celcom Business Wireless router is still under warranty (24 months), you can walk in to any Blue Cube for a replacement.

Would Celcom install premise router for me? 
No. It’s a plug and play router, therefore no installation is needed for this service. 

Can I bring this Celcom Business Wireless Router around when I travel? 
No. You will not be able to bring this router around as it’s locked to your registered address. 

How do I unlock the Celcom Business Wireless Router if I am moving to new premise address? 
You can call to our Contact Center, Account Manager, VAPS or visit to our nearest Blue Cube to update your new registered address.

What are the monthly fees?

Part 2: 30 Days Return Policy

What is 30 Days Return Policy?
30 Days Return Policy is for Celcom Business Wireless customers who want to cancel the 24 months contract within 30 days and they will be no monthly fee charged to the customer.

How can I be entitled for the 30 Days Return Policy?
Every Celcom Business Wireless subscriber is automatically entitled to 30 days return policy. If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must return the Celcom Business Wireless Router with the complete accessories in good condition and fill in the termination form within 30 days after plan activated.
You must bring the device to any Celcom Blue Cube or courier to EBS Technical Support when you request for the termination, if failed to return the device, penalty will be imposed and you must pay the penalty RM1200 should be charged to the customer bill or else the termination cannot be done. Upon bad condition, lost or refuse to return the device to Celcom, the warranty of the device will be deemed void.

What happens if I return and incomplete or faulty Celcom Business Wireless Router due to my negligence?
Penalty will be incurred if you terminate without returning the complete set or a faulty/dented modem. The penalty is RM1200. Complete set of accessories is referring to router, adaptor, LAN cable, user manual and router box.

Where do I return my Celcom Business Wireless Router and complete accessories?
You have to go to any Celcom Blue Cube or courier to EBS Technical Support if you want to return and terminate the service within 30 days.

Part 3: Billing

You will not be charged for the replacement of the router during the warranty period due to damages caused by a manufacturing defect. In the event that the modem is damaged due to your negligence you will be charged  RM1200.

How to terminate the service? 
You can simply stop running payroll and you will not be invoiced. You can continue to login and view your old payrolls and employees can login and view their payslips and continue to apply for leave. If you want delete your account, please contact our partner, PayrollPanda at 03-77267725.

What are the benefits of using a web-based / cloud solution VS software found out of the box?
There are many advantages to using a web-based accounting solution. It allows critical business tasks to be performed from anywhere, at any time. Web-based apps make it easy to share data with customers, contractors, employees, accountants, and so on. There is also added security from having data constantly backed up off-site. It carries a much lower up-front cost than traditional desktop software. Plus, with a web-based subscription product, users benefit from included, automatic upgrades to the product.

Do I need to install software to use Cloud Payroll?
No, there is no need to download anything as the software is cloud based. You can access it from any desktop computer and tablets.

Is my data secure?
All data is encrypted and password protected via SSL.

What device is Cloud Payroll compatible on?
The application is accessible on any computer with an active internet connection and works on modern tablets too.

How does pricing work?
The application is free to use for leave management, If you want to run payroll you only get charged for your 4th payroll, as your first 3 payroll processes is free. Monthly charge is RM25 per company, and a small cost of RM5 per employee. 

How does payment work?
You are invoiced monthly after your third payroll run.

I’m new to payroll can I use your platform?
Yes, we designed the app to be easy to use for everyone who needs to run payroll. We also created a help section where you can find answers to most common payroll questions. For any questions that are not answered there, you can contact the customer support team via the in-app chat.

How does the app get updated?
Since the app is hosted in the cloud, we update it automatically, no need to download or install anything. We have a new release every 1-2 weeks with new or enhanced features. Any changes from the statutory bodies are also automatically updated as soon as they become part of Malaysian law.

Can I get a discount if I have multiple companies?
If you have more than one company, you only have to pay one company fee (RM 25) per month. For every additional company, the company fee is waived and you will only be charged for the employees that you run payroll for. For example, if you have two companies, you pay the full price for Company A at RM 25 + Employee Fee, and for Company B you just pay the Employee Fee. The same applies to Company C etc. The employee count is specific to each company and is not counted as the total from all your companies.

Cloud Payroll covered the most common enquiries in the Help Center. Any other enquiries can be directed to their support team via the in-app chat.

How many email accounts can Biz Web Builder support? What if additional email accounts are required?
There are a total of ten (10) e-mail accounts available and the mailbox size for each email is 1GB in size.
Hosted Email provides option for the customer to add-on email accounts.

Can the 1GB of e-mail space be transferred to website hosting or vice versa?
No, the default size for website hosting and email for this service is 11GB whereby 1GB is allocated for each email accounts and 1GB for website hosting.

What website domain name does Biz Web Builder provides?
Biz Web Builder service subscription is inclusive of an international domain name for example .com, .net, .org, .biz or .info.

Will there be any additional charges for a website local domain name?
Yes.  A top fee of RM45 is applicable for .com.my, .net.my, .org.my or name.my and RM65 for .my.  Please e-mail request to admin@emerge.com.my.

Is there any contract renewal for Biz Web Builder?
Yes, you can opt to renew the Biz Web Builder service upon contract expiry by subscribing to the Biz Web Builder package.

Is there any penalty charge if the service is terminated before the contract period ends?
Yes, a total of RM300 (USB Modem) or RM350 (PortaWiFi bundled) as a penalty fee shall apply if the contract is terminated before the expiry date.

Will I still be able to access Biz Web Builder and emails if the Broadband line is barred?
In the event of barring customer can only view the website without any editing or access to email facilities until the Broadband line is reconnected.

Will I still be able to access Biz Web Builder if the Broadband line is terminated?
In this case, you will not be able to access or maintain the website and your emails
since the Broadband line has been terminated.

I am currently on Celcom Business Broadband and interested to subscribe to Biz Web Builder. What is the package offer?
You are eligible to opt for Celcom Biz Web Builder bolt-on plan as long as you are subscribed to Celcom Business Broadband Basic or Celcom Business Broadband Advanced.  Your existing Celcom Business Broadband monthly charges and contract tenure continues as usual.  The free Broadband USB stick is not applicable for add-on plan.

MobileACE is suitable for SOHO and SME companies who want to send out SMS messages to clients for marketing purposes or for any announcement campaigns.  This simple to use web based control panel allows you to customize and send out personalized messages easily to your customers.  A total of 10 free SMS credits will be given for every new Biz Web Builder registration.  To purchase additional SMS credits, please email to admin@emerge.com.my.

How to start using Biz Web Builder?
During registration of the service, you are required to provide an email address and mobile number for correspondence.  Once the service is activated, you will receive a unique password via email and SMS within the next business working day. With the password, login via http://reg.bizwebbuilder.com.my to register a domain name and start building your website.

What is the minimum system requirement for Biz Web Builder?
Biz Web Builder runs on Internet Explorer 7.0 and above, Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and above, Chrome or Safari.

What happens if I did not receive the unique password via email or SMS?
If you did not receive the unique password, please contact support@emerge.com.my.

Can I write my own HTML?
Yes, you can create your own HTML website and upload to the server via FTP.

How to host the website after it is being created using Biz Web Builder?
Biz Web Builder is an integrated website hosting solution. The website will be automatically published once the “Publish” icon is selected in the Biz Web Builder tool.

What is the platform used for the website hosting?
The website hosting is supported by Windows Server 2008 platform, providing customers with the convenience of creating a professional website and uploading media files.

How often is data file back-ups carried out with Biz Web Builder?
The back-up of the websites are carried out on a daily basis.  It will not affect the performance of the websites during this process.

Can the existing domain name hosted by another company be transferred after subscribing to Biz Web Builder?
Yes, you only need to select the domain transfer option in the registration website.  Emerge’s administrative department will contact and guide you through after receiving your registration. This applies for both international and local domain names.

What happens if I transfer the company ownership to another company?
Please send email to admin@emerge.com.my  to inform on your new company profile with supporting documents.

What happens if I relocate the current office location?
Please send email to admin@emerge.com.my of your new office address.

How to access Hosted Email?
The Hosted Email is supported by the Axigen server platform. The Webmail interface should be accessed via a specific URL that is provided by the administrator of the respective Axigen server. An email will be generated and sent directly to customers with the login ID and password to Axigen.

Login Window:
In the window displayed when accessing the Webmail URL, enter the username and password provided by the administrator.

Logout Window:
To close the current WebMail session, click the "Logout" link in the right upper corner of the page, next to the username and the "Settings" link.

An upfront 1-time set-up fee applies and is non-refundable in the event of early termination. Upon the receipt of this upfront payment, a team of consultants will be dispatched to the customer’s premise to implement the connectivity of corporate back end system and solution.

Is there a contract tied to the MDM user license subscription?
Yes, a two (2) year contract applies to each of MDM user license subscription.

What is the penalty fee in the event of early contract termination?
The penalty fee will be calculated based on the monthly licensing fee charged, multiplied by the remaining months of the contract period.

Can MDM be subscribed as a standalone product?
Yes, MDM can be subscribed as a standalone product, but only applicable for existing PortaBiz on SAP Mobility customers.

What is BYOD?
BYOD stands for Bring Your Own Device and this is a widely used, accepted phrase referring to employees who bring their own computing devices, for example, mobile phones, smartphones and tablets, to their workplace for use and connectivity to the enterprise network.

Which MDM model is offered to the customer?
Celcom is offering the cloud-based solution where the hardware is hosted on the cloud and only a minimal integration with the customer’s network is required.

What is the enrolment process for the devices?
Celcom will push an SMS or e-mail URL out to the user’s device, the user simply needs to click on this link and enter their enrolment password. It is to note that devices on Windows Mobile, Symbian, BlackBerry and Android operating systems will require software installation during the enrolment process.

What applications and services can the enterprise restrict on the mobile devices?
Some examples include:

  • Time-based access policy for personal apps like Facebook, WhatsApp and others.
  • Controls and blocks Bluetooth, camera, Wi-Fi and other network security settings.
  • Segregate blacklist and whitelist websites.

What measures can an enterprise take when a mobile device is lost or stolen?

Can MDM trace lost or stolen devices?
No, MDM  is unable to trace the lost or stolen devices.

What is ‘blacklisting an application’?
Applications like Facebook is considered a personal application and can be blocked throughout office hours using MDM to ensure employees’ productivity is optimised.

What happens if an unauthorised application is downloaded on a mobile device?
The IT administrator will be notified through the MDM console as soon as an unauthorised application is downloaded on a mobile device.

Can MDM work on a mobile device if it is not connected to the Internet?
No, MDM works only when there is Internet connection.

How can we use MDM to mitigate roaming costs?
On iOS5 devices, we can remotely turn off Voice and Data roaming. We can receive alerts when other devices are roaming. On other devices, we can pull a report to show devices that are currently roaming, and send a message to the device via MDM informing the user of roaming costs and how to disable data roaming.

Can customers use MDM to back-up the contents on the device?
No, the contents on the device cannot be backed up via MDM. BES can do this, so can iCloud and Google Sync on Android. MDM provides visibility and some governance of these devices.

Can MDM support App catalogues?
Yes, App catalogues can be pushed to iOS and Android devices. This list of applications can be customised to your needs. Celcom can also make recommendations on applications, as Celcom have a good understanding of productivity apps for each industry segment. App catalogues can also display internal applications that the customer wants to distribute to groups of users.

Is MDM a managed service?
Celcom is offering MDM  as a licensed software charged per device. If the customer requires MDM as a managed service, Celcom is able to provide it as an outsourced support model where we can remotely support device diagnostics for the enterprise. For further enquiry on our managed service support costing, please contact your dedicated Account Manager for more information.

How will the managed service support be charged?
This outsourced managed service support requires a 1-time charge per annum and payment from the customer and will be collected upfront. Please contact your dedicated Account Manager for more information.

Are there any other options on the service support apart from the outsourced managed service?
Yes, Celcom does provide on-site service support for customers to choose from. Please contact your dedicated Account Manager for more information.

What is the difference between per-day support and per-site visit support for the on-site service support mentioned?
Per-day support covers a maximum of not more than 8 hours per day and services include resolving any specific customer-related issues on MDM; and this support service can be exchanged for customer training.
Per-site visit support covers a maximum of not more than 4 hours per visit and is strictly upon the request of the customer to resolve any specific customer-related issues on MDM. It shall not include resolving problems pertaining to customer’s own environment set-up, for example, e-mail server, network set-up, corporate firewall and others.

Apart from the per-day support and per-site visit support options which are chargeable, can the customer still enjoy any other type of support?
Yes, customers can still enjoy the support via email for free. This email support provided by Celcom’s partner, which can be reachable at info@emi-solutions.biz

How do I send messages to my customers using chat applications?  What do I need to have and to do?
FB, Viber Public Accounts, Telegram and Line have an opt-in model. In other word the end user needs to contact the company first. After that the company can send messages to that user. Viber Service Messages are send to mobile phone numbers and the company needs to initiate the communication with the end user. When subscribing for using Demo OMNI Chat, Customer will need to fill up the OMNI Channel Info Feedback Form_v1.1 and provide all the necessary details for creating the app.

I am doing online business and I have my company website.  How do I integrate chat applications in order for me to communicate with my customers?
The messages are send using Portal or Omni Chat Demo. Very nice way to promote company’s presence on Chat channels would be to add QR codes on the website which enable easy opt-in.

I am currently communicating with my customers using WhatsApp on my phone.  What is the difference between OMNI Chat Applications and my WhatsApp?  Do you support WhatsApp?
Currently we do not offer WhatsApp but we are working on getting early access.

I know FB Messenger is very particular when it comes to broadcasting messages.  What are the Do’s and Don’ts?
There is difference between standard and subscription messaging.  Promo content can be sent only with standard messaging.

Will OMNI detect the chat application channels when it comes to communicating to my customers?  Will my customers be receiving all messages on all chat applications or only one whichever OMNI is able to detect and send 1st?  How will I be charged then?
Messages can be sent to all users who have made the opt-in on certain channel. There is an option to segment according to channel. For now, there is no way to set the preferred channel. The messages are charged per user, but the one user on FB and the same user on Line are counted as 2.

How will I know whether my customer has received and read my messages sent from OMNI?
We support delivery reports. Not all channels support seen status. FB and Viber support it and Telegram and Line don’t.

How do I reply my customers on chat applications for eg. FB Messenger, LINE etc?
We support both one-on-one and broadcast messages. For now, we do not have User Interface for viewing user messages.

Is QR Code opting in the only method?  I do not know how to get my customers to opt in.
OMNI Chat offer two ways of opt in: scanning the QR code and SMS invite way. By scanning the QR code, user is automatically opt in on the chosen channel and it will be automatically in the table of opt in users. Very nice feature to increase channel visibility, and help the users to opt-in is our SMS invite feature. It is available on the demo page under SMS invites tab. What it does, it generates the link which is sent via SMS and enables the opt-in to specific channel.

Currently, WhatsApp, FB Messenger, LINE is free when I communicate with my customers…why is Celcom charging on chats applications?
There is a difference between p2p communication and a2p communication, although both are free of charge. Chat apps are starting to open their platform to enable businesses to connect. We are providing easy access to various chat channels using one centralized platform. This way out clients can connect their backend system to various channels and easy add new ones. Also, we provide User interface to send messages and deep linking mechanism to help with channel discovery and unify user data.

How does Celcom Safepay mPOS work?
You would need to pair your device with Celcom SafePay mPOS via Bluetooth. Launch the bank app and start accepting payments with card by either slotting in or tapping the card onto the mPOS.

What types of card are accepted for payment?
All local and international debit or credit cards with VISA, MasterCard and MyDebit logo. It can be either a Chip n PIN card or contactless based card.

What are the devices compatible with Celcom SafePay mPOS?
Most smart devices operating on iOS 6 and above or Android 4.0 and above are compatible with our service.

Can I use Celcom SafePay mPOS in more than one device?
Yes. As long as the devices are compatible with mPOS device and have downloaded the bank app.

How long will one transaction take?
Depending on the Internet speed, each transaction would typically be below 15 seconds.

How do I download the app and is it free?
The app is free and downloadable from Apple’s App Store or Google Play.

How long does it take for the payment to be reflected in my account?
The payment will be deposited into your current account on the next business day.

What are the forms that are needed to subscribe to this service?

What is the transaction limit for the payment?
The minimum amount chargeable is RM 1.00, while the maximum is as per credit limit of the customer’s card. For contactless payment, it is RM 250 maximum per transaction.

Do I need an Internet connection for Celcom SafePay mPOS service?
 Yes, Internet connection is required to use the Celcom SafePay mPOS service.

Do I need to sign up with any Celcom plans to use Celcom SafePay mPOS? 
Yes, you need to be a Celcom Business plan subscriber to enjoy this service

  • What Celcom package do I need before I sign up for mPOS?
    • During the soft-launch period in JUL 2018, this mPOS service will not be specifically tied to any of our package. You can sign up to this mPOS service as long as you are a Celcom subscriber.
    • After the soft-launch period, this mPOS service will be bundled with some exciting and affordable data package so that you can run the mPOS service with our data package, stay tuned!

If I am an existing Celcom Business customer and a business owner can I apply for it?
Yes, you can. Just send an email to us and our dedicated Account Manager will contact you.

  • If I already have a retail plan and I’m the director of an SME , Can I apply for it?
    • Yes you can. Just send a Whatsapp message to us at +60 19-221 1861 and we will contact you back.

Where can I view the list of transactions and settlement records?
Each merchant will have to login to the bank app to view the list of transactions and settlement records, merchant and current account statement.

  • How long does it take for the payment collected to be reflected in my account?
    • The payment will be deposited into your Hong Leong current account on the next business day. However, if you do not have a Hong Leong current account, the settlement will then require 1 more day.
  • What if I don’t have a Hong Leong Bank Current account?
    • While it is not mandatory for you to open a Hong Leong Bank current account to enjoy this mPOS service, you are encouraged to open a Hong Leong Bank current account to enjoy the full facilities of this service.

Yes, you can but MDR rates are subjected to approval of the partner bank.

How long is the contract period? What if I terminate before contract period?
During the soft-launch period, there will be no Celcom contract tie to your mPOS service. However, there is a service contract of 12-months by Hong Leong Bank. But rest assured there is no service charges tie to this 12-months contract by Hong Leong Bank.

Will Hong Leong Bank review my mPOS service with them? What are the review criteria?
All banks are governed by Bank Negara and it is part of bank’s process to review their merchants – this is a standard process. The review criteria is simple – a merchant needs to have minimum card sales volume of RM5,000 per month or RM60,000 per year to continue mPOS service.

What is Celcom EMS and EEM Services?
Celcom EMS and EEM Services is a SMS broadcast platform which enable business users to send SMSes to their targeted recipient as a communication tools.

  2. Follow-up and Reminder 
    Act as a reminder which provides an automated mechanism to contact customers, patients and suppliers with a reminder, classify the response, and track the status of all appointments.
     
  3. Field Force Safety 
    It provides an efficient SMS-based application, which significantly enhances the safety of mobile staff through SMS back to base communications and escalation management. A leading SMS Gateway with an extensive set of API's that connect to popular CRM, ERP, WFM, OSS, BSS, Automated Call Distribution etc. systems.

What is the Registration process?

What threats does the Celcom Cloud Secure powered by Secucloud protect me from and on what devices does it work?

When you surf via the Celcom network, all Internet traffic passes through a filter. This filter checks if the website you are visiting poses a threat and blocks dangerous sites on your device. This ensures that you are protected against various Internet threats, such as phishing, ransomware, hackers, viruses, or botnets. You will be forwarded to a blocked page once a threat is detected. All devices connected via your smartphone (tethered modem) benefit from this protection, regardless whether they are connected via WLAN, cable or Hotspot.

Definition.

  1. SpamSpam is defined as unsolicited e-mail messages that is sent by an unknown source to a large number of recipients. 
  2. Viruses/Trojans
    Viruses are mostly passed on via infected e-mail messages. As they spread rapidly, they pass themselves on as e-mail messages and, due to the flood of e-mail messages this creates, they could cause a complete collapse of the e-mail system. Also, when you download games and other programs from dubious sources, a virus may be transmitted.
    The virus could then delete or change files in the affected computers. So-called Trojans or worms may stay on your hard drive without you even knowing it for long periods of time and might at one point send secret information to a hacker, who then gains access to the affected computer.
  3. Phishing
    This deceitful process, called phishing, is used by criminals to obtain sensitive data such as your bank information, credit card numbers, account information or passwords.
    The term phishing is a combination of the English words “password,” “harvesting” and “fishing.” It is all about obtaining confidential information, such as account information, Internet banking access information, credit card numbers, etc. Obtaining this type of information allows criminals to withdraw money from your account or purchase items in stores or online.
  4. Ransomware
    The word "ransom" is an English word and refers to a payment or demand that must be met in exchange for the release of something or someone. Ransomware refers to harmful software (viruses) that encrypts the files on the affected computer and connected drives. This means that the user no longer has access to their data and information (photos, documents, and other files). Once the encryption process has been completed, cyber criminals demand payment of a ransom. Individuals who pay the demanded amount are promised a program to restore their files. There is no guarantee that you will receive this software and that it will even work.
    Experts estimate the total damage caused by ransomware last year to be around $325 million. In addition to the ransom money, users also should expend time and money to reinstall the affected system and restore backed up data.
  5. Hacking
    Hacking occurs when third parties attempt to obtain access to a computer network, computer, secured component (e.g. chip card), or blocked data by circumventing security precautions. This is done by exploiting general flaws in software security, phishing, viruses, or Trojans – but also by guessing passwords. Hackers often have criminal intentions. This may include data theft or the establishment of a botnet.
  6. Botnets
    The term "bot" comes from the word "robot" and describes a computer program that generally carries out repetitive tasks independently without depending on any user interaction. A botnet is an entire group of automated computer programs.
    Criminals manipulate the computers of others, link them, and use them for their own purposes. These zombie PCs are used as a distribution center for spam, for example. Other botnets serve as a storage area for criminal schemes, assist in obtaining sensitive user data, or are used for DoS attacks (overloading of servers with queries).

Office 365 is designed to work with the latest version of Office, Office 2013, and Office 2011 for Mac. Previous versions of Office, such as Office 2010 and Office 2007, may work with Office 365 with reduced functionality. If you have Office 2003 or an earlier version, you will need to update to a newer version of Office in order to use Office 365; or you can subscribe to one of the many Office 365 plans that include the latest version of Office. In addition to getting the latest version of Office as part of your subscription, you will also get automatic updates, so your Office will always be up to date.

Is Internet access required for Office 365?
Internet access is required to install and activate all Office 365 plans and to manage your subscription account. Internet connectivity is also required to access Office 365 cloud productivity services, including email, conferencing, IT management, and other services.

What are the features of Celcom Life? 
Celcom Life lets you check on account details such as data usage, call usage, SMS balance, data roaming usage and allow you to seek support such as Device Self Help, Speedtest, PUK inquiry and others.
 

How do I sign up for Celcom Life? 
You will be able to access the app automatically if you are on Celcom mobile network. However, if you are on other internet connections (eg office WiFi), you can request for a One Time PIN (OTP) from your mobile.
 

Where do I download Celcom Life app from? 
Depending on your device’s operating system, you can download the app from Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). 
 

Will I be charged for downloading the app? 
Celcom Life is FREE to download and FREE to use without incurring any data charges if you are on Celcom mobile network.

How do I view my usage? 
On the dashboard, your usage information is shown on the screen by categories. To view the different usage categories, swipe the dial. You may also tap on ‘View Details’ for in-depth information on all your usage categories.
 

Can I purchase additional mobile internet/data or subscribe to IDD and data roaming? 
This feature is not available now but we are working to enhance your experience in our coming releases. In the meantime, please reach out to the Person-in-Charge of your organization to purchase additional data add-ons or subscribe to any IDD or data roaming packages.
