1. Can customers use the vouchers for ANY purchase of devices in Blue Cubes?
(Including iPhones, tablets)
Yes, the customers can use the voucher to purchase any devices or even accessories offered within the store. However, the customers are not allowed to use the cash to pay for their postpaid bill, prepaid reload cards etc.
2. Can customers use the vouchers in ANY Blue Cube?
The vouchers are only valid at stores operated by C-Mobile.
3. If the value of the device is only RM500, and customer uses the voucher to purchase the device, will the RM388 burn or can customer use the balance for another purchase?
The balance cannot be transferred or deferred to the next purchase, but customers can purchase more than one item within the same receipt to use up the value of RM888. Customers need to settle the amount exceeded the value of the voucher.
4. Can the voucher be redeemed for cash?
No, the voucher cannot be redeemed for cash.
5. When do the vouchers expire?
Vouchers will expire 30th June 2012.
6. What will the voucher be like?
The voucher will be a single voucher of RM888 value. Winners will be emailed a PDF voucher and have to print and bring it to Blue Cube to redeem it.
7. How many vouchers is one customer entitled to?
Customer may have more than one chance of winning a voucher, but only entitled to receive one voucher each.
8. What if customer duplicates the voucher? How do we prevent fraud?
Each voucher will be assigned a unique serial number to prevent fraud. Customers have to show proof of ID when redeeming the voucher.
9. Are Daily/Weekly plans that purchase volume eligible for the purchase volume category?
No, only postpaid broadband will be eligible for the purchase volume category. (Daily and Weekly plans that purchase volume are not eligible).
10. What do customers have to bring when redeeming their voucher? Are there any additional requirements?
Customers have to bring their IC/passport when redeeming their voucher. In addition, their Mobile Internet or Mobile Broadband Plan must also still be active.
11. What if customers are on CE50 supplementary voice plan? Are they still eligible if they subscribe to new mobile broadband or mobile internet?
The new registrant’s postpaid voice plan (eg 1+5, ce50) does not matter. They are in the running as long as they subscribe to new mobile internet/ mobile broadband.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR 888 BROADBAND PROMOTION (“PROMOTION”)
Introduction
This Promotion is held by Celcom Mobile Sdn Bhd (27910-A) (“Celcom”). By participating in the Promotion, Customer hereby agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions which shall form an integral part and to be read together with terms and conditions of Celcom’s mobile service or Celcom’s broadband service or offered and relevant to the Customer in respect of this Promotion.
In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between these terms and conditions and terms and conditions of Celcom’s mobile service or Celcom’s broadband service, such inconsistency shall be resolved by giving precedence in the following decreasing order (i) these terms and conditions (ii) terms and conditions of Celcom’s mobile service or Celcom’s broadband service.
Promotion Period
The period of this Promotion shall commence from 18th January 2012 until 29th February 2012 (“Promotion Period”). Any extension thereof shall be subject to Celcom’s sole discretion.
Eligibility
This Promotion shall only be applicable to new and existing Celcom Mobile Broandband Data only (“Mobile Broadband”) subscribers, new Celcom Mobile Internet (“Mobile Internet”) subscribers and new Celcom Smartphone bundle (“Smartphone Bundle”) subscribers (“Customers”).
Promotion Mechanics
- There are four (4) categories by which the Customer may participate in this Promotion as listed below (“Category”):
- For new Mobile Broadband subscribers, the Customer shall be entitled to participate in the Promotion upon the Customer’s registration for the Mobile Broadband package;
- For new Mobile Internet subscribers, the Customer shall be entitled to participate in the Promotion upon the Customer’s registration for the Mobile Internet package;
- For new Smartphone Bundle subscribers, the Customer shall be entitled to participate in the Promotion upon the Customer’s fulfillment of the requirements below:
- the Customer shall purchase and register for any of the Smartphone Device Bundle listed below from any Celcom’s Blue Cube Outlet/Dealer/Branch; and

- the Customer shall send the word CNY and the IMEI number of the purchased device (e.g. CNY 1234567890111213) and send it to 22188.
- For existing Broadband subscribers, the Customer shall be entitled to participate in the promotion upon purchase of volume of either 100MB, 500MB, 1GB or 5GB (“Purchase Volume”) in the following manner:
- by visiting any Celcom branch;
- by calling Broadband Careline at 1300 111 000 and request for the Purchase of Volume;
- by typing “BROADBAND VOL” and sending it to 22188; and
- by logging on to OCS and Purchase Volume.
- Sixteen (16) eligible Customers who fulfil the requirements in Clause 1 above, shall be randomly selected daily by Celcom’s system (“Selected Customers”) and shall be asked two (2) questions by Celcom via phone (“Questions”). In the event that the Selected Customer fails to answer the Questions correctly or fails to be contacted by Celcom, Celcom shall randomly select another eligible Customer.
- The Selected Customers who answer the Questions correctly shall stand a chance to win one (1) Blue Cube Voucher with the value of RM888.00 (“Prize”).
- Celcom shall select eight (8) daily winners (“Winners”) from the various Category as follows:
- Two (2) Winners from the new Mobile Broadband registrations;
- One (1) Winner from the new Smartphone Bundle registrations;
- One (1) Winner from the new Mobile Internet registrations; and
- Four (4) Winners for Volume Purchase which shall comprise of:
- Two (2) Winners from 5GB Volume Purchase;
- One (1) Winner from 1GB Volume Purchase; and
- One (1) Winner from 500MB/100MB Volume Purchase.
- Winners shall be contacted by Celcom via phone notifying them of their entitlement to win the Prize (“Notification) and to verify the Winners’s details as follows (“Verification”):
- Name;
- NRIC No.;
- Billing Address; and
- Email address.
- The Prize shall be emailed to the Winners within five (5) working days from the date of the Notification and Verification.
- The Winner shall then print out the Prize which shall be redeemable at any Blue Cube Outlet.
- Each Customer shall only be entitled to receive one (1) Prize.
- The Prize shall expire on 30th June 2012 (“Expiry Date”) and the Winners shall redeem the Prize before the Expiry Date.
- All Prizes are given on an “As Is” basis and are not exchangeable for cash, credit, other items or voucher, in part or in full.
General Terms and Conditions
- Celcom reserves the right to amend and omit and/or vary any of the terms and conditions of this Promotion without prior notice to the Customer herein stated and the Customer shall be bound to observe, perform and comply with the terms and conditions herein and any amendments thereof.
- Celcom shall not be liable for any claims by the Customer or third-party claims or loses of any nature, including but not limited to, lost of profits, punitive, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or for other damages and any related claims of any nature, including direct, indirect, third party, consequential or other damages resulting from or in connection with this Promotion.
- The content of the Promotion is provided by a third party. Celcom does not filter or edit the content. The Customer acknowledges that Celcom is under no obligation to censor the content or information provided. Celcom disclaims all liability in relation to the content provided.
- Celcom shall not be responsible or liable for any claims of loss or damage to property or any personal injury or loss of life resulting from or in connection with this Promotion.
- Celcom reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend and/or alter any part or the whole terms and conditions in relation to this Promotion at any time without giving any prior notice to the Customer and the Customer agree to be bound by those changes.
- The Customer acknowledges and agrees that Celcom reserves the rights to disqualify any entry if the Customer is in breach of its obligations or any terms and conditions of this Promotion. Notwithstanding the above, Celcom reserves the right to reject any participation or the Customer at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reasons whatsoever.
- Celcom does not take any responsibility in the case of an event that may prevent the Customer from participating in the Promotion, as a result of certain technical restrictions or other limitations specific or force majeure which include but not limited to regulatory events, government directive, act of God etc.
- Celcom reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, and the Customer agrees that Celcom may use the names, photographs, voice or video recordings and entries of the Customer without first obtaining any consent nor making any payment whatsoever to the Customer or for publicity, advertising, trade or Promotion purposes in any media.
